Mobile Banking Gets an Upgrade from Dama Financial by LeafLink

Since welcoming Dama Financial into the LeafLink family in 2024, our vision for the two companies has remained the same: to provide cannabis operators with a best-in-class suite of financial service tools that facilitate more efficient business operations. As we got to know the Dama product, the first major area for improvement we identified was the mobile banking experience. Most of our customers already used the app, and we knew they would come to rely on it even more in this fast-paced industry.

So our product team set out to learn about our customers’ needs, how they were using the current app, and how we could make that experience even better. We identified several themes that we could improve throughout the application:

  2. Security and login experience
  3. Visual presentation and user experience

We rebuilt the mobile app from the ground up to deliver on these goals, and are proud of the finished product we’ve rolled out to customers. Read on to learn more about the new features, or take a tour with this quick video.

Security & Login Experience

We’ve implemented a world class authentication solution to power our login experience. This means even better security and reliable multi-factor authentication codes delivered via your preferred method. We’ve also made it easier to complete transactions without having to re-authenticate, so you can move quickly without compromising security.

Visual Presentation & User Experience

Banking with a best-in-class partner should look and feel like a best-in-class experience. We improved all of the app’s features, incorporating fresh designs and utilizing modern patterns to create a fully usable on-the-go banking experience that feels familiar and intuitive. 

What Else Can You Do With the App?

If you haven’t used the Dama mobile app yet, now’s the perfect time to give it a try. Here are just some of the things you can do:

Monitor account activity and approve requests

We’ve made it easier to find the information you need on your accounts and quickly take action on requests that need your attention. You can even approve requests for outgoing payments from the account home page.

If you manage multiple companies with Dama, we’ve also made it easier to toggle between your companies’ accounts with a simple tap.

Initiate internal and external transfers

Move money between Dama accounts or to external partners with a few simple steps, and find partners easily with our new search functionality.

Deposit checks

We’ve fully revamped our remote check deposit functionality to be more intuitive and reliable, so you never have to mail another check. With our new app, you can deposit checks up to $100,000 completely electronically!

Schedule cash pickups and change orders

Handling cash ops on the go has never been easier. Schedule a cash pickup, change order, or both in just a few quick taps.

Access help articles and contact support

For those times when you’re stuck, we’ve made it easier to access the help articles you need or contact support to troubleshoot your issue. Check out the updated Online Account Center (OAC) user manual, which now includes mobile-specific articles for all the most common actions.

So far, our customers have been loving the new experience, and we look forward to making it even better in the future.
