Business Development Representative

Description

LeafLink seeks a Business Development and Sales Representative to join our growing team. You will work closely with our Client Success, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations/Expansion teams to grow our user base into new markets. You will be persistent in pursuing new clients and help lead our Business Development Team into new territories.

This role is for self-starters and entrepreneurial-minded individuals who can work with our Business Development team to help crush sales goals. You are a good fit for this position if you are a goal-oriented overachiever with the drive to chase down clients and close deals.

Experience Needed
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the software industry selling an SaaS platform, B2B software, or other technology product that requires a discovery meeting and an analysis of the client’s needs
  • 5+ years of experience in an “inside/outside” sales position
  • 4+ years working with a CRM and familiar with common sales KPIs and phases
  • Knowledge and experience in the cannabis industry is a plus, but not required
  • In-depth experience with Excel, huge value add with existing cannabis-industry connections
What You'll Do
  • Prospecting small, medium, and large companies through emails, phone calls, meetings, and conferences/events while managing an efficient sales process
  • Scheduling “discovery” meetings and closing deals with potential clients, who will include managers, directors, and C-level executives responsible for the implementation of business solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of LeafLink’s technology and the ability to sell its value based on the client’s needs
  • Maintain an understanding of competitive technologies and LeafLink’s place in the market
  • Manage customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into your assigned territory
  • Developing management skills to manage a growing Business Development team on a daily basis
  • Define, execute, and overdeliver on strategies and tactics to achieve revenue goals
  • Track daily sales KPIs through a proper and timely reporting system, and present those KPIs to management on a weekly/monthly basis

Technical Product Manager - Compliance

LeafLink seeks a Technical Product Manager to join our growing Product and Engineering team. You will work directly with our CTO to position compliance integrations into our core product offerings. You will lead market research, relationship building, product strategy, and integration efforts with each state’s regulatory systems, often referred to as seed-to-sale tracking technology.

To be successful, you will need a track record of experience with system architecture, product strategy, and implementation. Ideally you have 1+ years of Product Management experience and 4+ years Software Engineering experience.

You must bring a blend of product strategy and true development capabilities to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively lead the planning, strategy, and implementation of LeafLink’s compliance integrations
  • Act as a point of project escalation and resolution during the project lifecycle as it relates to project decisions
  • Determine and provide a necessary level of project documentation during all project phases
  • Keep informed and ahead of industry trends, advancements, and competitor capabilities
  • Write requirements and stories, oversee UX/UI designs in close coordination with the development team
  • Manage timelines using Agile Methodologies
  • Technically architect a generalized framework, domain model, and schema that is scalable from state to state
  • Implement and integrate initial state seed-to-sale system
  • Assemble a team of developers to fully implement and scale framework across future state systems
Qualifications

LeafLink seeks a Graphic Design Intern to join our rapidly growing team. You will work directly with our Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Associate, and Senior Product Designer to own the visual design of our marketing campaigns across many types of media. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, with dependencies on our Product, Sales, Client Experience and Engineering teams. You need to be a self-starter who is comfortable with change, enjoys a fast pace, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines.

Your primary role will be conceptualizing and designing all marketing outputs including email templates, social media content, sales collateral, internal banner ads for our platform, and making minor changes to our landing page. You’ll bring creative campaign ideas to the table while executing our existing and ongoing campaigns with imaginative and fresh design that looks and feels like LeafLink.

Experience Needed
  • Full-time university student graduating in 2019 or 2020
  • Previous internship experience is preferred
  • Internship experience in the B2B, SaaS, or e-commerce space or work with social media, email marketing and/or content creation is a plus
  • Desired majors: Graphic Design, Web Design, or related majors
