We’re the people giving you high fives
when your business saves time with LeafLink.

Our Team

We believe our team’s strength is its perfect blend of background and talents,
like the ingredients in a blue ribbon Texas chili.

Ryan Smith

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Prior to co-founding LeafLink, Ryan successfully founded and exited two companies, one of which he sold to a publicly traded real estate investment firm. Ryan brings his experience creating and managing B2B firms and online marketplace investing in a highly-regulated space to LeafLink as Chief Executive Officer. In 2016, Ryan was the first CEO of a cannabis-facing company to be listed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30. When he’s not busy building the industry standard for cannabis wholesale, Ryan’s party tricks include building structural models and eating more sugar than Will Ferrell in Elf.

Zach Silverman

Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer
Zach’s diverse technical background includes experience as a consultant, product manager, and entrepreneur.  As LeafLink’s Chief Technology Officer, he brings expertise in building tools for growing businesses, including platforms for sales force reporting, CRM, marketing, and data management.  As LeafLink’s token Brooklynite, you’ll often see Zach sipping fair trade chai tea at the office, though he assures us he hasn’t given in to the Williamsburg matcha craze (yet).  On the weekends, you can find Zach cheering for Premier League football teams in his best British accent.

Mali Sanati

Sales Manager
Mali’s four years of sales experience include two at a marijuana media company.  Her deep understanding of cannabis professionals helps her identify how LeafLink can help them conquer their challenges and achieve their goals.  Mali is a true world traveler with a passport to rival Carmen Sandiego’s.  After living in 3 other countries, she moved to Denver 4 years ago and is still wondering how she lived so long without Easy Mac.

Jaimie Schutter

Sales Manager
Jaimie came to our team from the wine and liquor industry, where she was the sales manager for an $8M territory. Now, she’s spearheading our Washington state efforts, helping to bring LeafLink to the Pacific Northwest. Though she’s been unsuccessful in convincing us that the Seahawks should be LeafLink’s official football team, Jaimie’s mini Australian Shepherd, Rogue, is our appointed mascot and loves making toilet paper into confetti whenever a new vendor joins the platform.

Josh Simon

Business Development Representative
Our first man on the ground in California, Josh’s impressive resume in B2B sales spans nearly a decade. In addition to his experience as a domain broker and in real estate, Josh has worked at Apple, LA Weekly, and as a wholesale broker at a cannabis distribution company before joining LeafLink’s Sales Team. A self-proclaimed walking encyclopedia of random facts, Josh will chat with you about everything under the California sun; like the evils of bottle service, the joys of hardcore punk music, or Christopher Columbus’ secret double life.

Stephanie Dunn

Client Success Manager
Steph hails from Charleston, where she worked in a client-facing role for a B2B freight company. She brings her passion for connecting with clients to LeafLink, where she is passionate about helping businesses grow with vital order management tools. Steph is known for her Southern charm, except on Saturdays during college football season when the Clemson Tigers are on fourth and inches.

Blair Holley

Client Success Analyst
Blair’s passion for streamlining processes for growing businesses with technology stems from his previous work as a Technical Onboarding Specialist for a b2b SaaS platform. Outside of LeafLink, Blair loves going to Rockies games, shooting hoops, and checking out rap and jam band shows. His spirit animal is the polar bear, because like the cuddly carnivore, Polar Blair is a rare breed determined to adapt to any client environment.

Claire Moloney

Marketing Manager
Claire was bitten by the entrepreneurship bug during a business seminar at Cornell and has been working in marketing for startups ever since. When she’s not writing about inspiring cannabis entrepreneurs or skillfully hashtagging on social media, Claire spends her time making elaborate meals in her tiny NYC kitchen and lamenting her failed Pinterest crafts.

Sarah Mardiney

Marketing Associate
Sarah studied Media, Culture, and Communications at NYU before joining Team LeafLink, where she cleverly crafts cannabis copy and content. Thanks to her previous experience at two FinTech startups, she’s used to wearing many hats; just like at LeafLink, where she juggles her roles as Marketing Associate and Millennial-in-Chief. On the weekends you can find Sarah hanging around dog parks or arguing that rainbow is, in fact, a color.

John Healy

Lead Software Engineer
After graduating from M.I.T., John spent six years as a software development consultant, including as a partner for his own consultancy. He brings experience building custom Django web applications for B2B e-commerce and SaaS platforms to LeafLink. Born and raised in NYC, John lives every day like it’s Halloween and is a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur with a taste for nitro cold brew unaltered by pumpkin spice.

Cosi Leone

Software Engineer
After living in Italy and London, Cosi moved to the states in 2010, and brought with him his passion for web design. Cosi’s eye for design and aesthetic acuity stem from his previous experience as a UI engineer at a B2B ad sales platform. Now, Cosi spends his days building a beautiful experience for LeafLink’s retailers and brands. After hours, he’s dominating at Tekken 3, dreaming about his future home on Lake Como, or hitting up the best bottomless brunch spots in Manhattan.
